Narnia Tattoos(?)
Okay, so I'm seriously considering getting something inked on me permanently to commemorate my love for all things Narnian (of course I'm going to take some time deciding as I don't want to regret it ) and so here's my question, does anyone have any Narnia themed tattoos, or know anyone else who does? And (even if you never could/could get a tattoo in real life) if you could have any Narnia themed tattoo, what would you get?
I look forward to reading everyone's responses and for those who do not like tattoos/consider them morally wrong, please just try and be respectful, I've seen many topics like this turn sour elsewhere on the internet, obviously I have more faith in NarniaWebbers than just your average internet-user, but please just remember to be polite, as we don't want to spend the entire thread justifying the question

Grief for the movies made me abandon narniaweb...but I'm so glad to be back!
Many thanks to the wonderful Lady Eowyn for making my sig/av.

Oooh, I would get a really good artist to draw Dragon-Eustace, just like it is in the picture. Only, I would have a cross in the background, and lettering on the bottom that says, "I've been un-dragoned." Meaning I'm a Christian.

Re: Narnia Tattoos(?)
Tattoos suit some people and not others. Personally, I have nothing wrong with them, as long as they're well-thought out and meaningful but I wouldn't get one myself. Just type 'Narnia tattoos' into Google and you'll find some good results. If I chose to have a Narnia tattoo it would probably have something to do with Puddleglum standing up to the Lady of the Green Kirtle, where he denies her lies about there being no Aslan etc.

Re: Narnia Tattoos(?)
I agree, must be well thought out and appropriate but actually one of the reasons I started this thread was because I was amazed at how little I found via google, I mean think how many narnia fans there is on this site alone, and I only found about a dozen Narnia, or even C.S.Lewis inspired tattoos!
I agree that puddleglum's bit would be a wonderful tattoo, maybe the quote
'I'm going to live like Narnian, even if there isn't any Narnia' .

Yeah! That would be awesome!
Another good one might be a portrait of Lucy walking into the wardrobe.
Or of all the Friends of Narnia standing together, like in The Last Battle.

If I were you, I'd get something small and simple on the shoulder. Like a symbol of Aslan on Peter and Edmund's war shirts, Reepicheep, a centaur, or a faun. A symbol of your favorite character would be great.
Make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing because a lot of tattoo artists today can mess things up. It happens to my friends a lot to wear they want to go in and get them removed.

I LOVE that tattoo that ILoveFauns posted, I read the original blog post that went with it and it seemed really meaningful to the guy who had it, and I think it looked great
DamselJillPole- nice ideas! I like the idea fo getting one to honour a character, except I love them all so much I wouldn't know which one to choose!
at the moment I'm considering getting 'the term is over, the holidays have begun' because I like quotes, and this one speaks to me over lots of levels

Wow, ILFauns That tattoo is gorgeous. You can even see initials around Aslan's eyes. That is gorgeous!

I like a tattoo of Aslan, making me feel strong and fierce but not a tamed mammal. .

Re: Narnia Tattoos(?)
I'd go for something simple but elegant...something that won't look tacky in 50 years.
For me, I'd get maybe the popular 'Peter's Shield' emblem on the back of my shoulder, or a small outline of the sun with a Narnia quote inside it. There are so many good quotes from the series, it'd be hard to pick one right now, though!

Maybe the letter N, from Narnia. I like the font and color, looks so royal.

Re: Narnia Tattoos(?)
I would get some sort of symbol of Narnia and place it (in red and gold) just below the joint on my thumb
