Sometimes. I'm seventy two & life isn't what it used to be when I have aches & pains. At the moment, I'm rather glad not to have to make excuses to stay at home. I'm a little afraid Sometimes might at some point turn into always.

ASN: Enjoy peace & quiet, doing what you want to do at home, all by yourself?

Always - although I am an extrovert and love being around people, I also have a lazy selfish strand that likes to be indulged.

ASN: Make sure you have a squeaky clean book borrowing record?

Always. I've never had an overdue fine in my life. Of course, it helped that when I was growing up, my dad worked for the local library service and he would always renew all our books for us unless there was a request for any of them — so once I moved away and joined other libraries, I had to actually remember to renew them myself...

ASN: Drink tea with sugar?

Never. I do drink herbal teas sometimes, which don't need sugar, as a rule.

ASN: Volunteer to do the shopping, just for the chance to get out of the house?

I'm not that good, . Since most, if not all, of my tertiary studying was by Distance Education, I once kept my university supplied library books a few days overdue, both to finish an assignment & also to see what would happen. It was in one of the units for my library & information management degree.

Never, whether in or out of lockdown, unfortunately!

I must re-emphasise that this is mainly due to my dad's diligence, not my own!!

ASN: Wear a mask when you go outdoors?

Sometimes.
I won't wear one for going on a walk, but I will wear it when grocery shopping or when a family member does a "drive-up visit" with me.

ASN: Dye your hair a crazy color?

Never, unfortunately. I always thought that when I retired I would dye my hair a crazy colour, to be a free, rebellious, non-conformist, senile delinquent. But by the time I did retire, in early January, 2013, I had more things to worry about, with a cancer-stricken husband, & not feeling all that great, myself. Nowadays, even if I wasn't in lockdown, when many hairdressers are shut, I can't afford it, anyway.

ASN: If sharing accommodation, have different places there, to self-isolate to?

Sometimes.... mostly I just stay out of my Dad's private study.

Sometimes? I tried but failed.

I used to be an avid journaler (?) when I was an undergrad (I still laugh at my journal entries, I was such a drama queen back then), but I haven't been very good lately. I've been meaning to get back into the habit.

ASN: Eat more now that you're home all the time?
