Are any charities supporting those who need help with funds and resources for rebuilding?

Isn't Samaritan's Purse one of the charitable organizations that is helping local churches in Australia to set up relief efforts?

Don't the usual charitable funds in Australia include The Smith Family, Vinnies (St Vincents), Salvation Army (Sallies), Red Cross & also Anglicare?

Haven't you heard that last weekend's torrential storms, which left part of Sydney without power, also finished off the bushfires as well as filling up Warragamba Dam from 40% to over 60%?

Doesn't that depend on whether the power lines are overhead as in older parts of Sydney, rather than underground as is more likely in outer suburbs?

Wouldn't that depend on what caused the power cut?

Doesn't that also depend on when the next shower of rain is due to fall?

Would it matter if the rain was unusual for this time of year?

Wouln't it matter even more if the power technicians were forced to do repairs in pouring rain that was usual for that time of year?
