Courtenay: Matthew Flinder's Cat

Welcome to NarniaWeb, :ymhug: Did you ever read this book? Or have you ever been to the City of Sydney, where the book is mainly set? Did you know that there is a statue of Matthew Flinders outside the State Library of New South Wales, in Macquarie Street, Sydney, with a bronze statue of Trim, Matthew Flinder's cat, put on one of the library's windowsills, to look up at his beloved master mariner & travelling companion. There is a map of Australia on the foyer floor of the State Library from his travels circumnavigating it, in 1804. :)

@ Valia :ymblushing: Oops! That is one Rosemary Sutcliff book I would have loved to have read then. I had the impression she was more later Roman Britain & King Arthur style.
