What kind of metric measurements would these be?

Have you ever heard of such measurements, metric or not, as: "As the Crow flies", or place names such as Woop Woop, At the back o'Bourke, or Somewhere in the Sticks?

Wasn't it usual for those cooking dinner to use such measurements as a cup of this, a pinch of that, a tad of the other & a skerrick of the whatever?

Would the people who used such measurements actually know what an "infographic" is?

Would the librarian have access to that sort of information?

Don't most librarians who work in libraries have access to dictionaries, encyclopedias & the like?

Wouldn't that depend on how much money the chief librarian is permitted to spend, to run the library, by its governing organisation?

Who is likely to be the governing organisation of a library?

Aren't there specialist libraries for various organisations, other than university, school & college libraries, or state & council libraries?
