Unfortunately, some inattentive students become attentive to a different subject!

Fortunately, if they enjoy a particular subject, they may get better results on that particular examination! ;))

Unfortunately, all too often, the subjects inattentive students grow attentive to, have nothing whatever to do with the subjects on which they are to be tested. :D

Only too true! ;))

Fortunately, student can be tutored in the subjects that they don't do so well in.

Unfortunately, tutoring students in subjects they have no aptitude for & even less interest in, can also turn out to be a waste of hard-earned money & a distressing learning curve for hopeful parents.

Fortunately, uninterested and inept tutors are less likely to make their pupils' assignments too burdensome.

Unfortunately if parents are paying tutors good money they want to see results as measured in improved exam outcomes, which can give their children a better start in life.

Fortunately, spending good money on a tutor can at least improve the life of the tutor whether or not they deserve it. :D

Unfortunately, if the tutor is of any use, & if the parents are wealthy enough to afford one, the poor people who send their children to government schools will start screaming about "privileged" rich kids & try to ban parents' hiring tutors.
