Essays

Though far from having read all, or even most of the essays that C.S. Lewis wrote, the ones I have read have been most enjoyable. (As a side note, I don't.read.essays)
Somehow, he is able to put into words those concepts that I can only feel and vainly try to lay hands on. And such precise, potent words, too.

That is what I like about all his writings, I think. Has anyone else experienced that sense of satisfaction on reading his essays?

I totally have. The Inner Circle was one that I enjoyed, as was The Abolition of Man. And yes, I do like essays. They make me think.
