Whites of eggs fluffed up are essential for delicious meringues, crisp pavlovas with fluffy insides, macarons, interesting omelettes and Royal icing.

Why do telemarketers all ring up at dinner time or when you are expecting an urgent phone call?

It's one of two reasons. 1) They know that you're waiting for an important call (and therefore will pick up the phone.) and/or you're eating dinner (and therefore at home), so they can lure you in. 2) They're calling so constantly that they're bound to call when it's inconvenient.

What is the best method for getting rid of telemarketer calls? :P

I don't know, but I hope that that doggie's for sale. (I do not know where this is from, but I heard this song at a burger restaurant, where I'm usually accustomed tohearing rock, amd I got such a good laugh at the song that it is stuck with me forever.)

Where is my hairbrush?

It's either "where you last left it" or "wherever it walked away to after you left it alone".

By cracking it on your head seven times. ;)) Ouch!

Why is "abbreviation" such a long word?

Because "abbreviation" sounds much better than "zlork".

Because almonds, cashews, pecans and macadamias, all of which are certifiably nutty, are more expensive and harder to get than peanuts.

It was a particularly wet and slick morning, and Jill was a particularly malicious friend who enjoyed the pain of others, at least she slipped too while in the act.
