I'm so sorry you don't like this year's Christmas tree. I thought that a real Christmas tree, with traditional non-electricity-guzzling decorations, would be much more Christmassy and nicer smelling than last year's dusty old plastic tree with the blown electric bulbs.

Don't you realise that your concern about examinations won't matter a hoot if you are smashed up in a car accident!? Besides, if I'm the passenger I would rather be late than completely "late". You can always get another copy of the book if you remember the title, and what it was about. See, I would even give you a hand in locating and re-annotating that all-important book.

You ignored what the teacher told you about not leaving your studies to the last breathing minute before the exams and pacing yourself with studying. Now you are giving me headaches with your drama queen behaviour.
