Sometimes I wonder if I'm the sole inputter on this thread. :ymblushing:
I checked my mail today and I received the two photos I sent Will Poulter to sign, nicely autographed and returned to me! :) I would guess they're his real autograph.

You sent pictures to Will, and he actually signed them??? :-o That's... WOW. Cool! I've heard of friends paying $30 or more for some person from HP's autograph... personally I don't think a signature is worth that much. But for free, I would definitely take it!
I am so jealous now.

Well it wasn't really for free. I had to send enough International Reply Coupons (and a self-addressed envelope) and mail off the packet to his talent agency. I'm guessing when he becomes more popular he won't have time to personally sign anything that comes via mail.

Still... he didn't actually charge you himself for it, did he? That's pretty nice of him! :D Good thing he's not like Eustace in real life, hey? Even though he plays him so well in the movie!

stateofgreen, I just got back from Germany and recieved my signed photo as well. so exciting!! and mines in pen matching the ones he signed at the premier so you could check it like that. Sending fan mail is definately worth it because its such a great feeling, especially when he signs it personally (eg on mine; To Charlotte, Best wishes, Will Poulter...)
And thanks for being an imputter on this thread, i'm sure you arn't taken for granted, certainly not by me, you just scoop all the stuff first :)

220C posted this link to another Will Poulter interview on Aslan's Country:

It's really funny. :)

Another little bird told me that this clip is not on the blu-ray. Hmmm.... Wonder if they have more interviews and extras saved up for another release down the road? /:)

I guess I haven't seen this thread before - oops! :P Anyway - just wanted to say that Will did an amazing job as Eustace, his character was just perfect, very realistic and true to the book. :) There's actually one thing I really liked - in the book, Eustace seems to be the same level of nastiness the entire time before the dragoning, while in the movie, they showed him softening a little bit before hand, which seemed more realistic. Example: After the fight with Reepicheep, he almost smiles at him. :)
Any thoughts on that?

hmmm... I do think he changed much faster than he did in the book. Will Poulter has done a WONDERFUL job of playing such a hard character ;) I thought the reason they had him change somewhat early because he was in his dragon form most of the movie...but that is just my thoughts ;)

On the VDT commentary Michael Apted says that that early softening (that smile) was Mark Johnson's idea. Interesting. I liked it because it showed Eustace wasn't entirely bad and had potential for good.

Yeah, I agree, stateofgreen - after being in Narnia for that long, anyone (well, almost anyone) would start to soften a little bit. It's just more natural.
And he did a great job keeping his character while softening. :)

The first time I saw that little grin, I was like "What?! What are they trying to do here?!" :-o But after I had watched the movie and saw what he said after the softening moment, I relaxed, and I now like it ok. Acting-wise, I thought Will Poulter did a great job doing Eustace when he wasn't being as mean or actually being nice. That's the one of the main reasons I want to see him back in SC. :)

We only saw so little of him after the undragoning, so we weren't as exposed to how he had changed as much as we had in the book. In SC, although he still had relaspes, Eustace was much nicer then he had been before. This aspect was cool, because I've always imagined that if they would adapt it, they'd show how Jill felt about the new Eustace, and how nervous Eustace was about not being as bad as he had once been.

Will, being a nice person and a great actor, will easily be able to pull this off. I cannot wait to see how this area of the film, and get more glimpses of the improved Eustace. :D

Where did you see that Eustacegirl? Always on the hunt for new interviews.

Edited: I found it. It was linked on Aslan's Country from the Daily Mail.
