Perhaps a banner on the ship, as they sail on the underground sea? :)

What should Rilian wear before he meets LOGK and after when he's back in Narnia? I was thinking he should dress the same way Caspian did in PC in hunting clothes. :)

Perhaps not quite like Caspian did in PC. After all, the Telmarine influence in Narnia has mellowed, and much of the old livery (Yellow and Red) is showing itself once again. Perhaps it should be a blending of the pre-and post-Telmarine Narnia?

JustKing I love that idea to but people would probably still notice, perhaps the shirt they bind Puddleglum's foot with could change, talking of Puddleglum wouldn't he recognise the prince, that's a fault with Lewis' writing that the film-makers will have to sort it out.

DamselJillPole I think it would be so much better if we didn't see him before he leaves
we won't recognise recognise him in the caves.
I know that most people will know anyway but there will be some people who haven't read the book.

I don't think that Puddleglum would necessarily recognize Rilian. In the first place, Puddleglum may not have ever visited Cair Paravel. In the second place, it has been 10 years, and Rilian will have changed. :)

I suppose so but EVERYBODY in Narnia will have seen the king. I suppose it's possible and he will have changed.

Thanks! It's Jill from the BBC Narnia for a while when I was younger she was my hero and I thought that was the most Narnia and I blending sort of picture. Glad you like it.

Just my opinion but I think Rilian should be fair with blond hair and light skin. There are too many dark Narnians already (not that I would have done any different). He does have the blood of the stars in him so that would fit. Also Narnians are described in HB as having "fair hair," and we haven't seen much of that.
A note on the first post, the book says Rilian's shield was "black and without device," but having a snake on it that changes into a lion at the end would be interesting.

Now there's an idea! Blond hair! That is an excellent point. :)

I like that idea, that way he could look like his mother rather than his father and that would be some explanation for nobody realising who he was when they saw him in the underworld. Also he's drawn with blonde hair in the book, then again Eustace is drawn with dark hair and NOTHING would make me (even if I could) change Will Poulter for anybody.

And it would help solidify the fact that Caspian married Lilliandil........

Exactly, it would be better not to see the princes face in the begining but somehow we have to show that Caspian did marry Lilliandill, it's so much easier with books!

It would be a given fact that Caspian married Lilliandil if Adamson hadn't made C. and S. kiss at the end of Prince Caspian! It makes me furious! Still, I shan't go on a further rant, as I know Suspians lurk, and I don't want to spark a conflagration. :)

Mmmm, I totally agree. But I think we keep veering from the point so, Prince Rillian head firmly on, I think that somehow we've got to show he's like caspian too but hair probably isn't the way to do it. Another way to show Caspian married Liliandil would be for us to see her in her coffin or on the ground after the snake bite. Ah, still getting sidetracked! I think I'll leave it there or goodness knows what I'll end up writing about!

Well, we DO have to see Lilliandil's death, you know....

Should Rilian wear a dagger? Maybe a bow?
