Wow you have a lot more experience than me! :ymapplause:

I am wondering- how close are they to filming Hobbit? This may, right? Os there still time for me to audition for Itaril? I don't think so...*sigh*

Also, anybody have a good way to start out getting jobs? Like in commercials? I wouldn't want to do them all my life but I will to get to the plays and movies! :)

I personally think that you do, it would just be a matter of convincing them that you do (what experience did the Pevensie's and Eustace have? TV shows a few movies? Lucy (Georgie Henley) had never been in a movie before, so hm..), and that you can be a believable Jill. Plus the fact that the auditions are probably in England... :((

Do they accept those, I wonder? Probably only if they open audition... :((

I can only audition by tape as well because I'm not spending all the money to fly to England from America unless I know I have the part! But I could come for a call-back perhaps... ;)

So how did you get started? I did by a school play I tried out for and got one line :ymblushing: and then I did a church play where everyone got a part. The school play I was like 9 and the church play perhaps 12? And now I'm 17 1/2. :(( I need some more acting! Oh, forgot: everyone at school (when I was public schooled) had to do this, I was like 11, and we were in French class and we had to recite the French alphabet whil acting somehow. I did mine where one girl was a waitress serving me and a friend and I hopped on the tables and started isnging the French alphabet and my friend picks up her plate and walks away. =)) It was hilarious I put makeup all over my face...haha. So I was a one-liner, a shepherd's daughter and a crazy person! =))

Oh wow, you did start young, that is so cool! :ymapplause: Wow, and 5! :ymapplause:

I have a question for whoever can answer: how many agents, on average, do you have to contact before one will take you on?

And another: Will they take someone who needs braces but doesn't have them yet? With braces once they have them? My teeth are sorts rough but not really really bad, at least from the smile view...

Lu :)

*edit* more questions:

If an agent gets you an audition and you don't want to take it (because it goes against your morals, etc.) can you just not audition? Will an agent not like you because of the limited things you will work on (for example, I will not play an immoral character or anything where I have to kiss some guy I'm not married to!) BTW, I would not mind playing a bad guy, like LotGk or WW or something, just not an immoral-yet seen-as-a-good-person character. I hop you get what I mean...

They tend to ask you what sort of movies will you like or not like to do and they always ask you before they schedule an audition

Oh, so they will ask me when I sign, and I can tell them what I will not do (then hopefully they hire me!), then if they say, "Wanna do this audition?" and I say no, we just don't do it and they find me others??

*hopes that's what you mean and sighs in relief if*

I'm bored and am avioding doing homework( :ymblushing: ) and the thing above that JillPoleFan565 did looks like fun, I think I'm going to give it a shot :p though I wont get all the ages right

age 8- a play for my dance schools's summer day camp, I was Princess #1, I wasn't the main character but I had the most lines :p

age 10- my summer camp with a skit we did for parent visitation, I was a girl who really couldnt sing and got accepted onto American Idol, it was supposed to be a joke :p

age 10(11?)- my 5th grade class did "fractured fairytales" which were parodys to origional fairytales, I was the main role of Cinderella, that was fun!

age 11- my summer camp did Grease and I was Jan(I was supposed ot be Rizzo but as a little girl I didnt want to be the bad one so I switched with a friend :p)

age 14- the drama club did one act plays, I was Vanessa and Natalie, this show was really fun!

age 15-my advanced drama class does a children show for elementary schools every year, this play was alot of different scenes showing the progression of man, my favorite character I was was the Moon :p

age 16- emsemble in Hairspray, rehearsals start tomorrow I'm very excited!! :D

I've done alot of backstage work(spots, props, hair/makeup etc) with my drama club and its still a very fun experience

and I'm in my dance studio's recital every year and I've been doing that since age 4 so I have some good stage experience from that aspect :D

JillPoleFan565, you've done some awesome stuff! and It all sounds like great fun!

Lucy of Narnia what you've done sounds great as well! I hope you get the chance to experience more of the amazingness of being on stage :)

experience is key for getting a role so start off small and then grow to larger things

I should try to get an agent now though, right? Or get more experience before?
