Sorry I haven't been around here that much lately. Just dropped in to say that I have in no way stopped collecting Narnia collectibles.

Here are the latest additions to my collection:


The first picture is of a Disneystore Exclusive frame in the shape of the wardrobe with the Lamp Post on one side of the frame and Mr. Tumnus on the other side. You can make the Lamp Post light up with the use of batteries.

The Second picture is of a nice metal bookmark (LWW) that I bought from a girl in Singapore. *Note to self: Lot's of great stuff to be found in Singapore.*

Hey, anyone remember that Telmarine mask that this guy from Bovec, Slovenia was selling for $1,000? Well, I just bought it from him for €300 ($444,84). Quite expensive if I might say so (No Chistmas presents this year), but it's an original mask that was used for the film. Also, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. It's not like I will find another one of these masks on eBay.

Anyway; it comes with quite a story, that IMO adds a lot to it's value:

You see, the mask was dropped by one of the actors playing a Telmarine soldier at the shooting location on the Soča river. Then, when the river was flooded it took the mask with it and it ended up on the bottom of the river some 3,5 km (2,2 miles) away where it was spotted by a kayak and rafting instructor (seller).

Notice that it has the number 1200 written on the inside. This might be a reference to which actor it belongs.

I will take some better photos once I get it and post them here.

Oh, I'm afraid the seller is considering breaking eBay rules to sell it to another buyer. Auction ended early with less than 12 hours left and I was the high bidder, which means that he has to sell it to me, but I guess that's not final.

We'll see...

I'm in awe of some of the stuff you guys have. I'll have to compile a list myself eventually.

Loving the mask!

As it turns out, I too broke eBay rules by giving the seller an offer although the auction didn't have that function.

Anyway, I just got an email saying he had decided to sell it to me even though I can't top the other guys bid because he got the feeling I wanted it more. And I do want it more! Also because I'm a Narnia Collector. I like this guy, there should be more sellers like this in the world.

I can't breathe out yet though as I haven't paid for it. Need to know how much the shipping costs will be.

If you have some time over, say a silent prayer and it might work out.

We're waiting to hear the end of the story! Hope you get it, Griffle. That piece has a priceless history behind it.

Thanks! I will let you all know once it's a done deal. It's moving on at a slow pace atm. Haven't heard more from the guy. I expect I'll get a return email sometime during the day though.

Btw, does anyone know if there is a site like imageshack where you can upload documents? (that others can read)

EDIT: (Dec 11th, 12:22 am) Contact with seller. He's gonna go to the post office tomorrow to find out how much the shipping is gonna cost me, so I guess the deal is on. Yay!
