I had no idea there were so may Ideas! It's incredible! Thank you a thousand times to the very sensible Lu_vailent who pointed out it would be very hard to ride a horse in those shoes, even a enchantress has to be practical! I love so many of the dresses, to make me happy LofGK would have to have a different dress every second of screen time, I like the idea that she starts with huge skirts and loose hair and everything about her gets gradually tighter and more snakelike. It's a shame there aren't more scenes with her in as that way the change could be more gradual.

beautiful pictures kira! :ymapplause:
now for my two cents, I agree heels are not so narnian-feeling for me, maybe snakeskin boots? not so normal, more fantasy-like and easier to ride a horse in? (plus...warm) they could be anckle boots in the early scenes of just flats and then progress to riding boots later on? just a idea :)
I am reallyreally interested to see how the costume team handle LotGK, if the movie does it made :) she has such possibility, the idea of a snake enchantress could yeild some amazing results with such a talented team :D

edit: ooh, what do you guys think of something like this but without the heel?

Not to put a damper on all these ideas, but I always pictured her wearing a dress that was long enough to hide her feet. She would glide along and if her feet were shown at any time, they would be bare.

Be sensible please. Obviously the rule wouldn't apply then.

Maybe some greenish boots for riding? Bare feet would be original, and would fir w/ the WW (not seeing her feet). Witch's don't buy/make clothes, right? They just...magically come. so they don't have shoes. ;)

i like the idea of having bear feet, But i have always had the image of her in the underworld with green ballet pumps as not to make noise so she can be noiseless but still silky and evil. Even though she should still be trying to be a good guy. :) :) :) :)

Lu Vailent siad - How could she ride in bear feet . The point strikes me that if she was riding side saddle you wouldn't see her feet anyway. Providing the dress was long enough. :) (-|

Bare feet would be silent too, the magician in VofDT walks about in bare feet making "No more noise than a cat" in other words no noise at all.

I've done a couple of sketches I'll scan them in later, I don't know what Lewis thought of as "scrumptious" but the first dress is certainly as lovely as I could make something that was all green, I hope you like them.

Well as of shoes, I am not oposed to her wearing heels. As horses tend to be tall she'll need alittle boost of help to get in to the saddle. But I cannot see her in high heels. :ymhug:

Her boots could be green, gold, or blue. Haha a snake has many scales, they are all simular; but no two scales are exactly alike, giving many options for color. I kinda of think the style should be celtic or celtic influenced. :)
I'm going to draw another dress. I'll post it when I'm done!!!

Gorgeous Narnian Dreamer! I'm sorry I haven't scanned my pictures yet but my 1st dress looked really like that her hair and everything are really similar. I had it down dressed with green ribbons and a thin (see through) garment, light green and the same shape as yours over a thin(body tight) garment in an emerald-y green.

Group Hug, so her boots would be irredescent, like a snake skin? That could work well but I don't think books would suit her. If she has to wear anything, heavy-duty but feminine (Romanesque) sandals would work well.
