I love the last picture you posted of this Dianna Agron, Rose_Amelie! She would make a great LOGK since her look is so innocent and would look cool when she turns mean so unexpectedly.

Even if she is considering a role as her I hope she gets it. I love how she's hugging the LWW book. Awe, put her in a Narnia movie!

I do like the last girl shown. Still, I like Evangeline more.

By the way, I had a disturbing dream the other day where on Narniaweb they announced who was going to play the Lady of the Green Kirtle....Lady Gaga.

lol! =)) =)) =)) =))

That was quite a nightmare Josh! I would despise it if Lady Gaga got the part for LOGK. That would go very good for a Narniaweb April Fools Day joke. you should post that for next year.

Yeah Evangeline is still one of my favorites too, but my top number one is still Natalie Dormer. ;)

There's a lot of good candidates here. But how about Amy Adams?

She's played as innocent very well and it's time she played a villian. I also imagine her with red hair. Amy Adams fits the bill for me.

I don't think Amy Adams is right.

The LotGK should not be all "innocent". Thats the main thing that seperates her from Lilliandil.

The big difference between the two mysterious beauties of Narnia is that Lilliandil represents an innocent and sweet beauty, whereas the LotGK represents more seductive and dark beauty. Lilliandil is represents love where the Lady of the Green Kirtle represents lust.

Idunno, thats what I always got from reading the books.

Interesting contrast, Josh!

Another is that Lilliandil by the time Rilian disappears (start of SC) is a lot older than in VDT. The timeline shows Rilian is born 15 years after she marries Caspian, and he disappears* at the age of 20 - by then his mother is more than 35 years older than in VDT (but I am sure she is still lovely).
The LOTGK is beautiful in a young-woman sort of way, bewitching and beguiling, and delightful.

[*I'm avoiding a major spoiler here quite deliberately].

I thought that Rilian was born two years after Lilliandil married Caspian, not fifteen years. Wow, that is long to wait to have a kid.

Good point coracle. I think they should try to get the actress to look similar to the age of the guy playing Rillian.

I think though, maybe because she was the daughter of a star, Lilliandil aged slower then Caspian. But that goes in another topic.

Evangeline Lilly! She's so pretty!

What about Jessica Marais?

She played an evil role in the show Legend of the Seeker (the same show where Lilliandil made an appearance and the actor for Lord Rhoop starred). She has a lovely, sultry voice and her mocking laugh is perfect.

She also does a fake, seductive innocent act very well.

I watched that episode recently Tarkheena and it's funny that I actually thought the same thing! ;) She would make a great LOGK only I picture LOGK with redish brown hair. But she can dye it! :)

Oh my gosh, I can't belive I didnt think fo this sooner....

KATE WINSLET!!!

She would be perfect for the role. She's not too old or too young. She's beautiful and could play sensual or innocent. She can pull off both blonde and red hair depending on which the filmakers decide to use. And she's been nominated for an oscar like 6 times and she's won one also.

But despite her academy award reconition, I don't think her fame would distract from the character. Seeing that the target audience of these films would not normally watch Kate Winslet's drama's, they would not associate the actor with the character. I switch my vote from Evangeline to Kate.

I think Kate is a bit too old for the role.

Kate Winslet would have been a perfect choice like 8 years ago. Her look in Titanic was very LOGKish ;)

She's in her early 30s, thats not too old. But if it is, they could always make her look younger digitally. Its really not that hard.

Kate would be great, she's really excellent in everything she's done. But she's a very serious actress and is very choosy in her roles. As of late she's only been in really meaty roles that continue to challenge her as an actor. I really don't think she would ever agree to be in a blockbuster like SC, even if she was offered the role.
