All evils are the opposite of Aslan; I think that in every book there is something that portrays the greater evil. The WW in MN and LWW, Tash in LB, TLoGK in SC. I don't think there is ever *one* special person/thing that portrays Satan.
Sorry if I'm not being clear. :P

Ah thank you for the answer. I always interpret that there's a balance between darkness and light. With Aslan being the light and one powerful entity being the dark. :)

Another thing: Why does people dislike the way Peter being portrayed in PC movie? Is he different in the book?

I don't know if you want specific details or not if you haven't read the book, but essentially, yes. Peter's completely different. :p

Nah I wasn't looking for any specific details. It's just that everywhere people are saying Peter is different in the book. Is he more kind in the book? In the movie he is kind of arrogant and "selffish".

In the book, he doesn't have the whole issue with Caspian, and not trusting Aslan and being un-secure. I guess we were all expecting him to be completely grown up and mature and not to have struggles; he was perfectly strong in the book.
But I for one, did not have a big problem with him.

I have a question about VDT movie: Is there any implication that there is another dragon during the Dragon/Deathwater Island scene? I read on the forum that there was a dragon roar, but I don't remember if that was before or after Eustace was turned into a dragon.

I don't know. I think it was at the moment when he turned into a dragon. It isn't really clear whether it is before he is a dragon or not.

It was shown simultaneous to the shot when he looked over his shoulder so he was still a human.

I disagree. It is not all that clear that it is simultaneously. And also he could have been turned into a dragon at exactly that moment. It is just not clear at all. No other dragon is shown in any form in the film. I think the roar was from Eustace. His reaction to being turned into a dragon possibly.

Are we talking about the same roar? The one I'm thinking of came after he took the arm ring and before the green mist showed up.

I think that was just an advertising gimmick (aka, a lie) to make you think the other Pevensies, who were popular characters, were in the movie when they weren't.

Honestly that is so weird, why would they put that in the trailer and not in the actual film? /:)
I haven't even seen VoDT myself, I've read too many bad reviews about it and it's sort of put me off :(

Is it true there are to be no more movies made?

Hello to all, It was just brought to my attention that there is to be no more movies made. This to me is tragic! With there being very few family friendly movies being put out, this breaks my heart. Does anyone think the voices of the few could change minds?
