It's actually not something we can discuss on NarniaWeb. It was not ever supposed to be on the internet in the first place, and the production was very unhappy about whoever leaked it.

Don't worry, it was a very old and preliminary draft, and most of the stuff that people were freaking out about will never make it anywhere close to the film. :)

Re: General Movie Questions

I have a question about a scene in PC. One of my favorite scenes in the movie is the part where they realize they are fighting a losing battle, they are surrounded, lots of troops coonverging on them, etc. Edmund joins Peter and Caspian and they all rush into battle. This happens right before Lucy finds Aslan.

My question is this: right before Edmund runs up, throws away the crossbow and draws his sword, they show one of the Telmarines--Glozelle or Sospian--I'm not sure which and he says something that sounds to me like "Christ Amore". Does anyone know what he says here and why? Is he making a reference to Christ (saying something like "Christ have mercy")? If he is making a reference to Christ, is this an oversight on the part of the movie makers, including a reference to Christ in a world where Christ does not exists. Well, not by that name anyway.

Just curious if anyone else noticed this--or am I completely misunderstanding what he says?

'Crush them all.'

That is what he says.

Oh. I always thought he said Cristobal. Which makes no sense either.
It's Glozelle by the way.

What Movie are you all going to make after VDT, The Silver Chair or
The Magician's Nephew?
I'm Kinda curious cuz my sister told me you all
were talking about making one of those next.

My sister NarnianCricket who is also a Narnia fan and a NarniaWebber,
said that you were going to make The Horse And His Boy next,
so I dont Know what to believe! :-o #:-s

^ On IMDB it's confirmed that Silver Chair would be the next movie in the series to be greenlit. Although there are interviews of some of the crew members confused on what to do next. They say that Tilda Swinton wants to get Magician's Nephew over with (but very excited about it). Yet at the same time are worried about Will Poulter looking older in Silver Chair. It's pretty much not confirmed yet. But my bets are going to Silver Chair being the next film. ;)

^^ I think it would be better to get SC in before Will Poulter gets too old. in the Prince Caspian movie companion, they talked about how they nearly did HHB before PC, but then decided to do PC after all because the kids were getting older.
so that's probably why SC is next :) and I am glad!

I have a question. I heard that they didn't use 3-D cameras, you know, the kind with 2 lenses, to shoot VDT. How are they going to make the live action shots 3-D then? :-\

They convert it in post-production. You can read about how the 2D to 3D conversion process works in this article here:

Thanks icarus. A toast to the people hard at work converting VDT into 3-D.
