I forgot that it was your computer and thought I needed a new password.


You sold my jeans on ebay and shipped them across the continent.

I never knew such ripped, daggy, holey & patched jeans would fetch so much money on ebay. Here it is, enough money to buy two pairs of tidy new jeans in your size to wear without looking like an old homeless hobo to be fashionable.

You left at home those old clothes I wanted to put in the charity bin at the supermarket, and took the bag which had my brand new woollen jumper in it instead.

I wasn't paying attention when I grabbed it and I was in a hurry, on a positive note the jumper will keep someone without a coat warm.

You forgot season five of Merlin! Now I don't know what happens.

I didn't know such a movie was being screened last night in my neck of the woods. Perhaps you could look up IMDb or by checking up the movie itself, to find out what happens?

You didn't remember to turn the clocks forward to Summer time last week. Now I have been late for vital appointments all week.

I thought the clocks would automatically change themselves so I didnt bother.

You didnt tell me about the rugby game last night now I dont know the score!

Given that my country's team was defeated by the English, I don't want to know the score.

You didn't tape for me the last episode of the miniseries that you knew I wanted to watch, to see how it finished.

Something went wrong and it didnt record, I am positive it will play again.

You didnt tell me my favourite game was on sale.

I wondered if you would prefer it for a Christmas present at the end of this year.

You didn't bring in the washing hanging on the line & now it is raining

I forgot there was washing on the line, as I've been living in England too long and we hardly ever hang washing outside there, for obvious climatic reasons...

You left the kitchen sink full of dirty dishes before you went out.

I thought it was your turn to do the dishes.

You forgot to do the laundry, and the last of your clean clothes is a paint-spattered relic of yesteryear.

The paint-spattered relic of yesteryear is due to become the next trendiest thing any day now.

You unplugged my phone charger and my phone battery is now flat.

I needed the socket to charge my automatic do-all-the-housework machine. (Which still isn't working, unfortunately, so I must get on with it myself... )

You spilled coffee all over the book I was reading.

The dog jumped on me while I was holding the coffee it couldn't be helped!

You let my little brother eat all the halloween candy and now he'll never go to sleep!

I can't resist small children begging...

You let my casserole burn to cinders in the oven while I was out of the house.

I wasn't sure how long it was supposed to left in the oven, so I did some laundry while it cooked.

You forgot to call a plumber now the sink is clogged.

I never thought putting glue down the sink would clog it up. (This was actually said by one of my woodwork teachers at high school!)

You threw out our old VCR and now I have nothing to play our old home videos on.
