Unfortunately my daughter confined me to barracks to stop me even doing a 1 Km short walk, let alone a 5 Km walk down to the main shopping centre, even though there isn't any bushfire smoke around now.

You didn't let me know if the shortages of essentials down in the main shopping centre supermarkets has ended yet.

I'm not going to let anyone else know when the shortage of essentials has ended... I'm planning to get in there and stockpile them all for myself.

You used up about a week's worth of toilet paper in two days and they're not getting any more in at the local shops until next week.

It was for a papier mache artwork that I am doing to keep sane while I'm in lockdown, but there may be one roll left.

You forgot to stand at attention at the bottom of your driveway at 6.am Reveille for the Anzac Day Dawn Service, yesterday.

When those left overs in the fridge were still uneaten after a whole day had passed, I thought you had forgotten that you can't keep some foods much longer than a day before they join the compost heap, so I ate it rather than simply waste it.

You haven't cleaned out the fridge since last Christmas

Well, what do you expect, when we are all in lockdown, when all the hairdressers who aren't still in lockdown, are expected to cut hair as quickly as possible?

All the places I checked didn't have websites, and I didn't feel like calling them up.

You forgot to put all the Amazon shipping boxes in the trash and missed the monthly collection of large trash items.

We lost electricity during the storm, and so my alarm clock never went off.

(This has never happened to me, but it happened to my sister. Thankfully, she still woke up in time!)

I was going to make cookies today, but you left a burnt mess on the baking sheets.
