Lady Diana Frances Spencer who, until her divorce on 28/8/1996, became Princess of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, Duchess of Rothesay, Countess of Carrick, Baroness Renfrew. When she died a year later, in a Paris car crash she was commemorated as Princess of Wales, the People's Princess.

Bing Crosby, an American crooner who inflicted on the world a song which went "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas, just like the ones I used to know..... Regardless whether we have snow or even winter at Christmas. And which therefore drives Australians up the wall. :((

Awww. I haven't had a white Christmas in nearly 2 decades. When we do get snow, it's quite an event, complete with a state of emergency!

Dick Whittington, a real-life merchant & politician who lived 1354–1423 in London, where he was four times Mayor, & sheriff of the town. He is known by the folk tale of Dick Whittington & his cat.
