Agatha Christie and Dorothy Sayers are two fantastic mystery writers who write detective stories.

Sometimes you need to be a really good detective to understand who was guilty & who was innocent.

But can you understand the terminology in crime shows and mystery books?

If you are unfamiliar with the terminology, a crime/mystery dictionary or encyclopedia might come in handy.

Would the encyclopedia help me locating a particular sea creature?

We need to identify which sea creature it is quickly, in case it is poisonous.

What book shall we use to indentify this creature, should it be dangerous.

I find it amusing that there are many characters whom claim that dangerous is their middle name.

The first name would probably be "Very," if the character was trying to be especially intimidating as well as corny. :D

In trying to be corny, the character lost the intimidating factor and unfortunately became the laughingstock of the town.

The character became the laughingstock of the town then moved to a different town and changed their name.

The character returned to their hometown years later only to be flabbergasted by how much things had changed!
