Unfortunately koalas can't survive in space & are too delicate a species to be messed around with.

Unfortunately, if the asteroid hits the satellite sending signals to NASA, all hope of a warning will be lost.

Unfortunately, the world economy ceasing to exist has many problems of its own, and would basically mean replacing the satellites would be impossible.

Fortunately, the world economy does not seem to be in danger of ceasing to exist.

Unfortunately, the world's ending has been delayed to ensure that inattentive students can't use that excuse to avoid sitting end of year examinations.

Fortunately, inattentive students still have time to become more attentive.
