Can they force evacuation by law in Australia now?

Did you know that the New South Wales Premier has declared a state of emergency?

What some did not know of this state of emergency?

Aren't they alerted by radio, TV, internet and even possibly text messages?

Wouldn't everyone have to be notified of which schools & TAFE colleges would be closed in the most fire prone areas, & where to evacuate to?

What some people live without technology?

Why after all the proclamations we've had about extreme fire danger, & the Premier declaring a state of emergency, did we still get children running around lighting fires, people who should be old enough to know better, still want to use incinerators & people goofy enough to still want barbecues for dinner?

Why didn't we all learn our lessons after Black Saturday (2009)???

Why didn't we learn from history as well?

Was it George Santayana or Edmund Burke that made that statement?
