Does the romantic life of poets matter to the reader?
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters.
Some days you just make soup.

How could a Romantic Poet know anything at all apart from daffodils?
“Not all of us can choose what we give up. The things we love are taken or are never ours at all. If we’re lucky, life is defined not by what we let go, but what we let in: friendship and kind words, frailty and hope.”

Why would they know about daffodils, for that matter?

How could a poet, romantic or otherwise, not know about daffodils when he wrote a poem about daffodils "across the lake beneath the trees, fluttering & dancing in the breeze"?

What sort of skills would another person have, to be able to write about daffodils?

Would people with other skills even be interested in writing about daffodils?

Who is not interested in daffodils?

Would the people who are uninterested in daffodils be the same ones who once made fortunes from tulips?

Why would someone only be interested in one kind of flower?

Aren't there poets who would be more interested in battles and places in foreign lands?

Why would romantic poets want to be popular?
“Not all of us can choose what we give up. The things we love are taken or are never ours at all. If we’re lucky, life is defined not by what we let go, but what we let in: friendship and kind words, frailty and hope.”
