Softcover books preferably, due to being easier to store, as well as often being cheaper to buy.

Lighthouse - they are useful, necessary and lifesaving on a dark and stormy night & am not so sure the same can be said about towers.

I suppose I must answer "put on a movie" though I might just as well put on a TV show... from Netflix.
