Sometimes, especially to Sydney. Going there by car isn't worth fighting traffic congestion and a lack of convenient parking facilities.

Sometimes!! I love knitting and I make jewelry too, so many hand-made gifts happen, especially this time of year <3

Never, or, more truthfully, rarely. The only time I clearly remember staying up all night on New Years' Eve was when we took a flight to Antarctica on New Years' Eve, 2006. We boarded the plane about 6.00 pm, spent midnight flying under the Midnight Sun, along the Ross Sea littoral, near Terra Nova, then back towards Mount Melbourne & Cape Adare and then home again to Sydney, the plane landing at 6 am New Year's Day, 2007.

Never with neighbors, but we often host a family & friends day. This year my sister's hosting.

Sometimes, made easier in recent years because now I only have to buy one gift.
