It's back!!! "The Interesting Game"!!

For those of you who have never played, here's how it works:

Each post consists of three parts. The first part is a word, phrase, etc, which is the first thing that pops into your head upon reading the previous person's first part. The second part is the answer to the previous person's question, and the final part is a new question.

It sounds a lot harder than it is. Here's an example:

Person 1:
1. Cheese

Person 2:
1. Macaroni (The first thing that popped into their mind upon seeing "Cheese")
2. Probably Rye

Person 3:
1. Pasta
2. No, I'm afraid of guns

Person 4:
1. Spaghetti Sauce
2. Probably grilled salmon

2. Oh...what a hard question! Right now, I'd have to say "My Father's Father" by the Civil Wars or "Puzzles and Pieces" by Deas Vail. They are definitely not my favourite ultimately, but they are what I want to listen to now.
3. How do you feel about gardening?

1. Downpours
2. I like gardening quite a bit, though I hardly ever do it. I happen to have an allergic reaction every time I happen to touch dirt! (Weird... yeah. )
3. What's your favourite soft-serve ice cream franchise?

1. Storms
2. Dairy Queen (although I much prefer the local mom-and-pop ice creams)

1. Galahs joyously calling the "all clear" after rain.
2. I am rehearsing with others for a musical play in June.

2. Yes! Very much so!
3. What's the weather going to be like where you are today?

1. Earth tremor
2. Gathering black cumulonimbus clouds that spill very little water and only make an otherwise warm day somewhat colder than expected.
3. How do you feel about cats as pets?

1. Earthquakes
2. I think cats make great pets, a household really isn't complete without them (and yes, my household is incomplete )
3. Which is your favorite season?

1. California
2. Winter. I just love the cold and the snow!
3. What do you collect as a hobby?

1. World wide noise
2. Hard to say at the moment, since my main hobby before retirement seems to have been collecting certificates, diplomas and degrees to support my working life.

1. Can you hear me now?
2. Amateur astronomy
