3. When was the last time an Olympics was cancelled? The last time the Olympic Games was cancelled was the Tokyo Games, of 1940, due to World War II. The 1944 London games were postponed to 1948, as is also the case with this year's Tokyo Games, postponed to next year, because of the Pandemic.

1. Lewis Carroll's real name was Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. Carolus Ludovicus was the latinized form of Charles Lutwidge, and Carroll Lewis was the anglicized form which was reversed to form Lewis Carroll.
