TPAM, who plays the bagpipes, must be an admirer of Scottish music & culture.

(Have you been to any of the yearly Royal Edinburgh Tattoos, usually held in August, or seen them filmed on TV?)

TPAM is widely read, by which I mean she has read widely, not that her own work is widely read (although if she has published, I hope it is read widely too!)

TPAM has some experience in acting.

TPAM would love to be in Sydney in October, when there will be indeed a live performance of the Royal Edinburgh Tattoo, to be held, most likely, at Sydney Olympic Park at Homebush.

(@ coracle, no I have never written a published book outside of university assignments. On the whole, having reached Masters level in my professional career, I know too much about how the book trade works to feel encouraged to do so, especially after shelving & processing trolley loads of already published works to be confident I have anything worthwhile to say.)

TPAM might be interested to know (or might already know) that the first person to record a written English recipe for guacamole was the pirate/privateer William Dampier!

Wow, I didn't know they did that elsewhere in the world! I recently entered a drawing for tickets to go to a nearby Highland Games Festival this October, but that wouldn't hold a candle to seeing the actual Edinburgh Tattoo performed locally! Have you been?

TPAM might be even more interested to learn that though the main festival for the Edinburgh tattoo is in August, in Edinburgh Castle, other festivals are sometimes done down here, the last being in February, 2016 which I did see in Melbourne's Etihad Stadium as there is a mock up of Edinburgh Castle here to help with the display.

TPAM is interested in culture and history.


(That is so cool, btw! I imagine a castle might look a little out of place in Australia, though. I'd love to see something like that!)
