TPAM comes from Melbourne, in Victoria, which so far has escaped the worst of this month's weather conditions & has even had snowfalls in the mountains.

TPAM was asking after koalas on another thread, so I'm letting him know that in one nature reserve, 16 koalas were rescued & are in a koala hospital from one particular bushfire which killed an estimated 320 koalas.
