Fortunately, you've been keeping a journal of your exploits this entire time.

Unfortunately, you'll have to rewrite them in a new volume if you wish to preserve your memories.

Fortunately your library membership entitles you to access computers, printers, scanners and photocopiers.

Unfortunately, the electric eel really belongs to a plumber who doesn't believe in the need for libraries.

Fortunately, the eel doesn't share his owners distaste for libraries, and in fact helps you figure out how to get the power back on.

Unfortunately, it's such a shocking experience you need to take a good long break afterwards.

Fortunately, you survived, and are sueing the council for their lack of maintenance to keep the place safe.

Unfortunately, the only lawyers you can hire that are in your area cost $1,000,000,000,000, and you only have $1,000 on hand (you have more at home, but the trial starts in 5 minutes, and your home is 10 minutes away).

Re: Fortunately/Unfortunately
Fortunately there are a lot of rate-payers who are also annoyed about the Council's failure to maintain the place properly who join you in a class action, and the lawyer also agrees to let you have legal aid.

Unfortunately, the legal aid turns out to be a anthropomorphic lawbook.

Re: Fortunately/Unfortunately
Fortunately the lawbook states clearly that people with low incomes are entitled to free legal representation, and also prohibit lawyers overcharging clients unless the said clients are multi-millionaires.

Unfortunately, you're not considered to have a low income.
