Tambora, an Indonesian volcano which exploded with such force in 1815 that the following year in Northern America was the Year Without Summer, that there was widespread famine conditions around the world, in UK and elsewhere, and where in places as far south as Van Dieman's Land both settlers and natives suffered privation due to the weather conditions.

Warrumbungles, New South Wales. A mountainous area formed by extinct volcanoes from a long long, time ago in a land far far away, where today Stargazer would find a very important observatory called Siding Springs, and maybe the mythical outback of nowhere Woop Woop pub.
