Was C. S. Lewis Anglo-Catholic?

Postby jewel » Oct 03, 2014 8:06 pm

Wanted to hear my Narnia web buddies answer this question. He was Anglican, we would agree, but was he also Anglo-Catholic. The fact that he believed in praying for the dead may support this, but I wanted to hear all of your thoughts. what do yo think?

This question has already been answered.
Lewis remained an ordinary Anglican until he died. He was not particularly "High Anglican" aka Anglo-Catholic.

We are closing this as we already have a thread in which questions of whether Lewis had Anglo-Catholic beliefs is being discussed.
"Blessed are you, Lord our God, king of the universe, who diversified his creatures" (a Jewish prayer to be said whenever one sees an unusual looking person or animal),
