Yes, many people do refer to pride as the worst one of the list.

Some characters in other books do show pride. I wonder if Susan's pride was what led her to stray away from Narnia. Or a combination- such as sloth, greed, and lust. Pretty much everything except for wrath- although who knows if she was angry at The One In Charge for something not stated in the books.
