Because it is doubtful that The Horse and His Boy will be made into a movie anytime soon, I decided to draw out the conversation between Shasta and Aslan found in the chapter "The Unwelcome Fellow Traveler". I hope you will enjoy my drawings.

I apologize for the unprofessional lack of detail, but I only have Mic. Digital Image Standard and Paint to work with.

I've been working on some Horse & His Boy fanart as well (except manga rather than graphic novel)! Great minds must think a like. :D Amazing job especially for using only paint and that other program. Do you use a tablet? Your animals are drawn really well! and my favorite drawing is the shadow view of Aslan chasing Hwin and Bree. Lovely work! You should definitely do some more. :)

I wish, I did it in pencil, then inked it with a pen, scanned it in on b&w setting, and set the contrast at 100% ten times to get most of the white specks caused by the process of scanning it in away. The only reason why the remaining specks are not visible in the finished product is because I shrunk the picture.

I hope you post your Narnia manga, I don't draw manga, but anything Narnian is interesting.

Here are some more I've done of Eustace being undragoned and the last meeting with Aslan at the end of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Neither the BBC version or the Walden/Fox version included enough of the story in my opinion, and the Aslan parts are important to me.

Undragoning
(I stayed in comic style with this one, so it won't be too graphic.)

Oooh, goodness! The second page of the HHB set is powerful. I really like the pacing there, and it made the third page feel a bit rushed. Though I don't know how well a slower transition from Shasta looking to the side and then to kneeling before Aslan would have worked--I'm imaging mist effects and all sorts of things Paint would make extremely difficult. :p I'm amazed at the details you have put in. :ymapplause:

Ditto the comment on your accomplishments in Paint. I'd have given up before completing a single page. And you've done scenes and scenes!

I also like the part where you have Eustace scratching off his own skins, and then Aslan's transition from lamb to lion. Very well rendered. :D

Wow! That is way impressive, Hermitess of Narnia! :O I'm really shocked--and I ditto Mel, kudos to you for using Paint. The details are fantastic. The second is my favourite of that batch.

My favourite one of all, though, is the Undragoning scene. Such excellent frames from Eustace to Aslan--how you planned that out is amazing!

The expressions on the faces of all the characters in all the ones you posted are really impressive, too. Really well done! Keep up the awesome art! I can't wait to see more of your work. :D

WOW Hermitess of Narnia these are wonderful!!! :D
I really Love the expression in each character! :)
It must have been really time consuming to draw everything in paint! ;)
Great Job! :ymapplause: I love them all, and I hope you will post some more! :D

That's really brilliant, and very impressive. I was able to follow along with the story and everything.

I need to say: the lamb turning into the lion was.... Epic. :P It looks great!

I wish, I did it in pencil, then inked it with a pen, scanned it in on b&w setting, and set the contrast at 100% ten times to get most of the white specks caused by the process of scanning it in away. That is a lot of patience and determination!

Very well done!

(You should get a prize for doing this on Paint! :P )
