Best times:

1) I joined Narnia Web, which let to...

2) finding out about the band Tenth Avenue North, which led to..

3) finding out how much the LORD loves me, which led to...

4) rededicating my life to Christ

5) found out about another awesome band, Switchfoot

6) had wonderful times & memories at school, home & church & here. :)

7) I have 2 friends that live in Oregon & their mom also got cancer, but is recovering

8) finding out what it means to live for God!

Worst times:

1) my best friends mom died of caner. That was a few weeks ago, & very
tragic

I think that was the worst... overall, 2009 has been a very blessed year for me. Possibly the best I've ever had! :) I hope 2010 brings the same joy!

Best times:

1) Getting to know my best friend better/Hanging out with her.

2) Work... I always enjoy Work. (Or at least the place I'm working at now).

3) Going to King's Island with my 2 best friends.

That's all that I can think of for now... I might post again later... Not sure.

Worst times:

1) Playing Football... The entire year (Entire year of football) was a huge disappointment for me.

Forget the football and I think I had a great year!

I suppose even with football the year was good enough.

EDIT:

Yes, I forgot some stuff.

More best times... New years eve. The Party was epic. 12 hour long party! It was awesome.

Also I have started going to my friends youth group... That has been very cool... Nice getting to know some great people and learning more about God.

Best Times:

-Vacation to Colorado--a really fun time with family.
-My niece was born.
-The Providential History Festival.
-Watching a meteor shower.
-Sanctifying.
-Getting to know my family and best friend better.

Worst times:

-When hope seemed far off.
-July 13-20 pretty much.
-And various other times.
Pretty much, all the "worst" times were when I wasn't looking at life from the right perspective. :p

Best time of 2009: Navy boot camp.

Worst time of 2009: Navy boot camp.

;)

But yeah, the entirety of my saga involving the U.S. Navy has been the big highlight of the year, for better or for worse. And, of course, that saga is still just beginning.

The other highlight would be graduating from college in May.

Where should I start? I think I'll do the worst first since that list is shorter.

Worst:
1). Classes this past semester. Two were very rough in terms of grading and quality of instruction to accomplish the tasks given.

2). Having to decide to wait on getting my book published.

Best (in no particular order):
1). Having my book pass the screening of Writer's Edge. This got me in contact with WinePress, who is also interested in it.

2). Traveling to fencing tournaments this year. Several trips including ones to Amarillo and Santa Fe this fall went well. I also got to go to Summer Nationals in July after a hard earned qualifying tournament.

3). My Computer Graphics class. A lot of work but a lot of fun. I plan to keep working on this as the class narrowed my interest fields in computer science to Graphics and Artificial Intelligence.

4). Peer Leading. I got a job as a student tutor last semester and it is carrying into this next one. And the best part is I get paid for it.

5). Seeing family in Colorado for Christmas.

6). The 2009 Urbana Convention. 17,000 college students from around the world seeking God's direction. I'd hate to burst anyones bubble but the ultimate New Year's Eve party was in St. Louis worshiping God into the new year.

7). Getting contacts at Urbana. Through one of the mission booths at Urbana, I got a hold of a gal who uses fencing as a ministry tool to special needs kids. I've also been using fencing as a ministry tool, having a calling to work with youth, and have been seeking a sparing partner with as much zeal for the Lord as they do the sport. This gal is looking for help. We may be perfect fits for each other. The whole thing was a pure God-put-together thing and I can't wait to see what comes of it.

I'll post more if I remember them.
Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.

Well, congrats about that! As a Navy brat I'm happy for you^^

Hm, worst first:

-the end of my first relationship...on my birthday. :((

-my roommate situation spring semester

-when my employer would fight with her husband in front of me...in Korean...with lots of tears and slamming things. :ymsigh:

-being really sick during midterms fall semester

Best things:

-growing closer to God

-all the work I was able to do did this summer

-participating in a Japanese speech contest, getting accepted for going abroad, becoming more fluent

-Spring at my college. The campus is absolutely gorgeous then.

-my friends at school: hanging out, making food, serious talks, laughing about something stupid till we cried...good times.

-vacations/outings with my family and all the times I could share with my siblings.

2009 sure wasn't an easy year, but it was filled with blessings nonetheless!

Best Times:
1. passed english 102 with an A!
2. Was in three movies!
3. Made a new very great friend!
4. got a job!
5. Got 3 book ideas

Worst Times:
1. Had a small irritable side affect from an accidental overdose (prescibed medication) on one of the movie sets. (It wasn't anything dangerous, I'm fine, just really embarrassing) ;;)
2. My best friends husband got deployed to Iraq
3. Went on a date with one of my long time crushes and I was getting over a sinus drip and a few hours into it, I began to cough. He hasn't talked to me since. (really dumb I might add.)
