Hi there, I'm PrinceRillianIX. I'm a Son of Adam and a King of Narnia. I'm single and a former scriptwriting student. I learned about NarniaWeb from my own research, and I don't think I can remember how old I was, I had first seen the BBC series as I child, as I'm from the UK, and then I went on to read the books.

I couldn't even begin to count how many times I've read the book. I would have to say my favourites are probably Prince Caspian or The Silver Chair. I personally believe these are the two darkest stories in the Narnia series, and the most intriguing story wise. I also love coming up with my own ideas for adaptations, this new Netflix deal has given me a lot of inspiration for what I would do if I was the creative drive of such a production.

PrinceRillianIX, a warm welcome to NarniaWeb! So glad you're here. :)
If I had to choose a favourite Chronicle, it would be The Silver Chair, but often I will respond that my favourite is whichever one I am reading at the time. ;)) Yet TSC always seems to come out on top, with The Horse and His Boy a close second. And the others very close thirds.

Johobbit, Its been a pleasure.

PrinceRillianIX, welcome to the forum my dude, its great to have you. If you're ever in need of a place to exercise some creative juices, I'd highly recommended you take a gander at the Ditto Town section of the forum. It's a place for roleplaying and shared worldbuilding. We have a blast over there, in fact the holiday mansion just started, its a great starting place for new people, because our characters all basically just meet up and hang out. Good times. =))

SirEdmundtheJust Hey man, welcome aboard the hype train. Personally I wouldn't say that one or the other is better, because I have enough room in my heart for both book series, but your absolutely correct in saying that there are a bunch of us narnia fans out there. We're a pretty introverted and elusive bunch, but we certainly exist. :p

Joe! :ymhug: It's been great to see your "face" around the forum more lately. Can't believe you're all grown up now and turned into a globe-trotting jackalope mechanic. :P ;))

And I've already said hi to both of you, but an official dryad welcome to Sir Edmond the just and PrinceRilianIX! :-h

Sir Edmond, I too am impressed that you've kept up with how many times you've read the Chronicles! I've lost count, aside from the fact that I'm sure I've read The Silver Chair the most... all those years where the movie was in development meant that I read the story over and over again, thinking about what the movie would be like. ;)) This Netflix news has been a really welcome breath of fresh air, because as much as I love SC, I finally get to think about some of the other stories for a change. :P

And neat that you've studied scriptwriting, PrinceRilianIX! I was thinking maybe you are an aspiring casting director after reading all of your interesting suggestions in Cast & Character Discussion, so I wasn't that far off the mark. ;)) It's an exciting time to be a Narnia fan now that the series is going to Netflix and there are so many things to speculate about... NarniaWeb forum is a great place to share ideas. :)

Rose, Globe-trotting jackalope mechanic? Yes. Grown up? I wouldn't go that far. =)) It's great to be back and active again, though. I missed you crazy peoples. Even the Dryads. :p

Welcome back, narnianerd! :ymhug:
It's been really nice welcoming new members recently, but there is nothing quite like seeing a familiar name on the site.

Coracle, That's for sure! :D To be honest, I never completely went dark on the site, but my activities were certainly restricted to far corners of Ditto Town. That being said I've definitely neglected the more mainstream side of the forum. =)) Here's to active participation. :p

To add to Rose's suggestions, Blackstar, I would recommend checking out Ditto Town, Narniaweb's official home of writing and role play. :) Not only can you talk with other writers (and generally hang out), but you can also post short stories of your own creation and complete other writing challenges. :)
