Re: Non-Narnian Graphics: Second Round
Sorry for my lengthy absence, everyone!
Anyway, first off... you guys have been doing a superb job! I've had fun lurking in here. Second, I hope you will forgive me, but I'll have to skip comments on stuff made since my last post. (too big of an undertaking, that) But I promise to comment on the stuff after this one. Does that work?
....
Ok, enough chitchat... let's get down to business!
Lately, I've become quite obsessed with all things Ben 10. And starting with stuff of the live-action film that got me hooked to begin with, I plan to start making lots of stuff related to the franchise. Hope that's ok with you!
Notes/Rules
1) Thanks to all those who made the textures and brushes! I forget who made most of them, but the wallies (and the two sets in this post) were made using something by Aravis Autarkeia. You guys rock!
2) Anyone can use, comments are loved, and credit... is great, but not necessary.
Franchise: Ben 10
Film: Ben 10: Alien Swarm
I have several more already made, but didn't have room for them all in one post. So, sadly the rest will have to wait. Oh, well... see ya soon!

wow, those are really cool, I especially like the first sig and three avies, with the really bright green in the back ground, I also like the two with the purple/purples and green background, but they're all really good

Thanks, wrose!
Man, is it just me, or is the silence depressing? Oh, well... people will show up eventually! And in the meantime, I have more to post.
Franchise: Ben 10
Film: Ben 10: Alien Swarm
Forgot to show this one last time... I made it several months ago:
And now back to the new stuff...
Thanks again to all who made the textures used herein. You rock!
Comments are loved... credit is greatly appreciated, yet not necessary.

Princess Anna, I love the way you're able to make your words stand out on the light beams; it gives your images a very dramatic feel. And you're right, silence is depressing.

I love the Kili (or is it Fili? I always get confused!) wallies, AslansChild!
Here's a Lord of the Rings Wallie that I just made after finally watching the movies for the first time!

PA: (first post) I haven't seen that show, but my favorite out of your graphics is the second avatar & sig set. I love the light greens! They're lovely. Great, colorful wallpapers, too!
second post: I love the transparent sig! The two layers of text is really awesome.
Dernhelm, my favorite is the tulip one that says "brave." It's gorgeous! And I must say, with all the cold, nasty weather we've been having, it's great to have a taste of spring. I also like the multi-colored flames!
AslansChild, man!! I love your wallpapers. You're extremely talented! The textures on them is so good. Amazing work!
Wow, Sheroo! I'm really impressed with your wallpaper. The analogy behind it is stunning. Great job!
Stopping by to drop off a batch of avatars from some of the movies I've been absolutely loving lately.
1-4: Gwen Stacy (The Amazing Spider-Man)
5-12: The Avengers
Comments are much appreciated. Please credit if you use.

MF, thanks very much, I'm glad you like them.
Sheroo of Stormness Head, I liked your WP, and it's Kili, by the way. Fili the "fair-haired" and Kili the "courageos archer". Sounds silly, but that's how I remember it, I'd get mixed up all the time.

Yay for Kili! If dwarf fellowships had rock stars, he'd be on the A-list, Aslan's Child.
Mountie, as always, your Avenger's graphics are striking. I love the one with Hawkeye in sunglasses.
In between my new job and studying for college, I managed to throw these together. Anyone may use with or without credit.

Well. When the world turns to mush around me. I usually turn to Picasa to express frustration. Sometimes, I actually make decent stuff. Here is a college that I created in the light of recent events. And I thought y'all would enjoy it. Also, the poem is courtesy of my brain. So. Yeah.

Re: Non-Narnian Graphics: Second Round
Thanks to everyone who commented on the wallpapers that I posted ages ago! Haven't been here in forever...again...but you all have made some lovely, lovely graphics! Just a few quick comments for this page:
Princess Anna: Yay! it's so nice to see someone using my textures. love the cutout effect you used.
Dernhelm_of_Rohan: Your Easter/Spring graphics are very pretty.
AslansChild: Lovely Hobbit wallpapers! I really like the grungy look on both the Kili wallpapers and the b/w effect on the one of Thorin. The negative spacing is awesome--makes them all look very dramatic.
Sheroo of Stormness Head: Very cool wallpaper and concept! I love how you incorporated the characters who were drawn by the ring and contrasted them with Sauron using the quote.
MountainFireflower: Beautiful lighting and cropping on all of your icons. I really like the blue/red coloring on #9 and #10.
narnianerd: That's a very neat collage. It's great that you can use art to help release stress.
and some Hobbit/LOTR icons from me:
Feel free to use any of the icons. No need to credit as long as you don't claim as your own work.

Re: Non-Narnian Graphics: Second Round
Thos are really nice avatars, Aravis Autarkeia ...do you happen to know where to get some Hobbit screencaps? I know I had found a website a while ago, but I can't seem to find it now.
And I'd like to use #6, if that's okay?
(& thank you for the comments. I'm glad you like them, I always love your work. )

Just wondering if anyone has any BBC Spooks (MI5) graphics they'd be willing to share?
