In light of the recent announcement made by the SO Moderators, and me being the benevolent goddess I am, I am willing to mediate between you and the Moderators for your favorite threads. Come here and beseech me for the life of a well-loved thread. I will go before the Moderators and argue on your behalf.

Sacrifices and/or large bowls of cereal eaten by petitioners are accepted.

Well, since they all have to be Narnia related, I (on bended knee) request that we have a thread of why the voice of Reepicheep was changed for this movie and that Eddie Izzard should remain as the voice since he is already established as the voice for dear Reepicheep. I think the change was a horrible idea!

Well, I wouldn't be too sure about that, AitB. If you've noticed, the number of SO mods has gone down because the section is really such a lot to keep track of, and a lot of mods just can't commit that kind of time anymore. It's happening all over the forum, actually. The main reason for the change is so that we don't lose any more moderators.

But don't worry! I'm sure we will all have wonderful discussions in the remaining four threads!

Well, I do love the Fashion and Makeup threads, but I realize that those are not high-interest threads (rarely does a male N-webber post there). Still, if one of them could be featured now and then I think Demeter would receive some generous bowls of fruit loops.

Wait--this isn't a joke, is it? What Jo is saying seriously makes sense. I can totally understand the need for a refocus of the forum. I mean, the idea of having so many threads is so lame. I can barely keep up with them, and paring down and throwing out stuff is so up my alley.

Yay! Just shut them all down, okay?
