*apologizes for double posting, but its been two weeks and I think you'll want to see this*
Today the chat glitched on me again. Its very similar to what we mean when we say it gets scrambled (that is, being half on one channel half on another) except it is slightly different in that it occurs on what like to call "The Non-Existent Channel" which is signified by "---" on the channel menu. Normally us normal users don't have access to it (it has been theorized that this might have something to do with the mod-only channel(s). However occasionally if the chat gets scrambeled or glitches a certain way we will end up half on it half on another channel. This typically occurs upon either a) logging on or b) attempting to access the non-existent channel.
What happenned exactly is this:
I didn't post a while on the chat and it kicked me off (ie just logged me off, it didn't fully shut down), so I proceeded to log back in. However, when I did I realized the chat was glitched and that although I was seeing the conversation in Spare Oom, the channel that was listed was "---". Also the user panel was weird in that my normal menu wasn't up and my username was at the bottom of the list.
I took screenshots to make a comparision. I blurred out the conversation for safety and privacy, and I highlighted the changes I noticed. Because of the large size I made a cropped version. The cropped version shows all the important details I noticed.

A few more things, I'm afrain I can't remember if the menu will be changed when situation b is true (that is when it glitches if a user tries to get on the non-existent channel), the other change is however. Again this is the special circumstances scenario, for the Non-Existent Channel scrambling... Normally it occurs in the fashion that myself and EJ mentioned above, although this is common as well (in fact I believe this has actually happenned to me more frequently). In both situations however the problem is typically fixed by logging off and back on again.
