Growing Pains: Feedback on the New Forum

For some strange reason Narniaweb will not let me change my avatar. I can't use browse because that never worked on here since I've signed up and now when i enter my image URL it comes up saying this Debug code at the top of the page and this: File() is not within the allowed path(s): (:/tmp)


Please someone help me.

edit: Also it's the correct size, 100x100.

^I've been having the exact same problem I can upload from my computer, but not from photobucket.

I'm having the same problem with avatars. I can upload signatures from Photobucket. But not Avatars. I can only upload avatars from my computer...

Does it say this at the top?:

Because this is what I get.

It does half the time. The other half of the time it just says something like "File does not exist" or something...

I wonder if it's a NarniaWeb problem, or a Photobucket problem? The signatures are still uploading just fine...

I tried tinypic just now and i'm still having the same problem. I think it's narniaweb.

I don't think signatures would be a big problem because it's not downloading, all it is is html code. I hope I find out the problem soon or learn how to upload a file when I browse.

Also the chat has been kicking lots of people off recently, ie. randomly closing. It's quite a pain :"(

I've been having trouble with uploading icons from my computer too and from picture hosting websites as well.

Yes DamselJillPole i get that same error over and over again too.

DamselJillPole and king caspian, you're both probably saving your icons as a bmp and I think this website has issues with the extension of it. Open your icons in paint and save it as a JPEG. If that is the case it might work.

Mine are all Jpg or JPEG and they still don't work

Photobucket, I can still get them directly off of my computer, but I want to go through and delete my old files, but I can't if I can't use my photobucket.

Yeah he was talking about uploading from your computer because my friend and I were having trouble with photobucket and uploading from computer.

I had to go to classes as soon as I changed my avatar, but thank you soooooo much King Tirian! It worked out perfectly!
