^ Oh my word, I totally get the frustration. It's so annoying when you find something that you love, but it's only almost-perfect, but the thing that makes it "almost" is pretty big and just ruins the whole thing. That's how it is for me and dresses - it's almost nice, except a) the style of the dress does not fit well on me b) the fabric is hideous c) the collar is ridiculous and then there's d) when the whole thing just comes across to me as a waste of capital, labor, management, and raw materials.
Also! The material that T-shirts in the girls' department are made of, and it's especially irritating when they have something especially nice on them. They don't sell nice, high-quality, last-for-five years, Fruit-of-the-Loom-type cotton. No, we must have the thinnest material available that doesn't even look good on some people, is 2 sizes smaller than what is standard, and that will wear even thinner after two washings.
And let's not even get to shopping for jeans.
