NarniaWeb Community Forums - Terms of use

Please read these rules. There is more here than just the usual legalese.

NarniaWeb is much stricter than many other message boards. Our members tell us they like the unique, family-friendly culture that our rules help us maintain. Everyone has a right to his or her opinion, but not every comment or behavior belongs on NarniaWeb. It is essential that you agree to abide by the following rules:

Extreme fandom. NarniaWeb does not tolerate "extreme fandom," defined as romantic interest in the actors. If you are joining so that you can post about how so-and-so is sexy, please consider joining a different forum. This goes for usernames too; do NOT sign up here with a username that expresses romantic attraction toward any actor.

Respect. NarniaWeb members are expected to speak about others in a respectful manner. This rule applies regardless of the topic or person being discussed.

NarniaWeb’s full rules are available here. The typical rules apply: do not post any material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others’ privacy, sexually oriented, or that violates any laws. Also, do not post any copyrighted material that is not owned by you or the owner of NarniaWeb.

When you register you are required to provide some information, much of which is optional. However, anything you do provide must be considered as becoming public information. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this forum and its agents with respect to any claim based upon any post you may make. We also reserve the right to reveal whatever information we know about you in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by yourself.

Although messages posted are not the responsibility of this forum and we are not responsible for their content or accuracy, we reserve the right to delete any message for any reason whatsoever. If you do find any objectionable posts, please contact the forum moderators.

The Federal Trade Commission’s Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) requires that Web Sites are to obtain parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do NOT enter your real name or messenger ID when you register.

By registering to use this forum, you state that you meet the above criteria and agree to abide by all of the above rules and policies.
