The kite runner
Welcome to NarniaWeb, Did you ever read this book? Or have you ever been to the City of Sydney, where the book is mainly set? Did you know that there is a statue of Matthew Flinders outside the State Library of New South Wales, in Macquarie Street, Sydney, with a bronze statue of Trim, Matthew Flinder's cat, put on one of the library's windowsills, to look up at his beloved master mariner & travelling companion. There is a map of Australia on the foyer floor of the State Library from his travels circumnavigating it, in 1804.

@ Valia Oops! That is one Rosemary Sutcliff book I would have loved to have read then. I had the impression she was more later Roman Britain & King Arthur style.
