Thanks again to everyone for making me feel so welcome. It was a great weekend, and a lot of fun. The eclipse itself was amazing.
For anyone interested in downloading the song I sang on Saturday, here's a link:

So glad you could make it, King_Erlian, that's wonderful!
Listening now, very nice! I do like the minor key of #11, with a hint of jazz in the music. As for #12, well, Narnia-based is always good. The easy-going yet anticipatory feel of this one is lovely. Nice brass, too! There is almost a slight swing-feel to the beat.
Beautiful, stargazer!
I love reading everyone's reactions.

Say, everyone, thanks for the little remembrance in my RL mailbox. Wish I could have been there!
Well, you set off something good. Are you going to fix your list now?

The Celestron telescope company has posted a video compiled from submissions by eclipse viewers. Some of the shots and clips give a good impression of what it was like, and I still got goosebumps watching some of the reaction and scenery parts.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Thanks for sharing 'gazer! What a moving video that really does show the excitement and awe of actually being there. I can't wait for 2024 to come round! Sharing the experience with some of the lovely members of this forum made the whole experience extra special too.
