Just keeping cool indoors can be a challenge in really hot places if there isn't air conditioning.

Kitchens are good places to work in during winter, but need to be kept cool in the middle of a summer heatwave.

Milk, dairy products, meat, fruit and vegetables may need to be stored in well-running refrigerators, even if the weather isn't too hot.
