Setting of The Magician's Nephew

Postby Dinode » Aug 14, 2010 11:57 am

My sister is doing a book report on The Magician's Nephew and she's supposed to include the setting. Trouble is, the book spreads over 3 worlds, not to mention the wood between the worlds. Which one do you think should count as the setting, or should it just be the early 20th century?

When doing any book report about other worlds, I think it would be best to peg the time down to our world. I would merely post it as Victorian England, sometime between 1890-1900

Or even the 1880s. In the beginning, it mentions Sherlock Holmes. And I think Sherlock Holmes lived in the 1880s. ;)
