VDT: The Official Mobile Game!

I posted a brief bit of information on this in the general Advertising and Promotions thread yesterday, but i've since found actual additional images and such for it, so i decided it best to move it here. Anyway, we didn't end up getting a proper video game release for VDT, but it seems we are going to get a Mobile Phone game instead - limited as it is, it does look rather kind of neat

If it was avialable for Iphone/Ipod Touch I'd get it. Looks pretty sweet IMO.

You can purchase the game from the GameLoft website below. It seems to be available for most phones, but not iPhone.

The game does look quite cool though, and it is made all the more cool by the fact that its pretty much the closest thing we've had yet to actual merchandise for this movie. Even then though, its still not a real physical object that one can actually own and keep, but the merchandise for this movie has been so non-existent that its still worth getting excited about - hence the use of the exclamation mark in the topic thread title!

I'm with Griffle - I have an iPod touch, and I'd totally buy this if it was available for that platform, but it isn't. Do you think there's any chance of it being made available for iPhone/iPod touch later on?

Has anyone tried this game yet? I'm looking at getting a new phone and one of the two phones I am looking at is compatible with this game.

These games are so funny! I had the one for PC back on my old phone, but I could only get through like five minutes of it because it was virtually impossible not to fail the next challenge. Caspian had to get past a group of guards that wandered randomly, then attack them and get out of the other end of the courtyard. When you have a regular phone with all those little buttons it makes it all the more difficult to play. I agree with Griffle that if they had an iPhone version for these games, it would be far more exciting!

The VDT game does look more exciting though, based on the screenshots. The characters are more detailed and there are more intense action scenes going on. I just couldn't help but laugh though when I watched the promo vid for it! The music is simply hilarious!
