I went to the movies today but at a different cinemas, and was so excited they had Narnia Merchandise, they have the Kaleidoscope ($10 AUS) that has been seen in many different competitions for fans to win packs of merchandise,( http://www.screen-one.com/competition/w ... der-prizes) and then they also have key rings ($5 AUS) that have Aslan on them and Voyage of the Dawn Treader written across the bottom.

They also have a combo pack which include a popcorn box that has the image of the posters on the front and back, and also a cup that has the photo of the poster wrapped around the length of the cup, I could only get the cup today has they had run out of the popcorn boxes, but I took a photo of the front of the cup :

The WARNER MYCAL CINEMAS in Japan have given a Narnia3 glasses-case(to keep glasses for 3-D movie) to who watched a 3-D movie (since Nov. 19th 2010, I guess and I don't know when it will stop).

I'm dreaming of one day getting hold of the 3D glasses worn by the Queen during the world premiere. (slim chance, I know) If I do, this will be perfect for them.

Do you need pictures of the silly bandz? I got them, a shirt, notebook, miniposters, and special tickets from a lady who won them in a drawing. These items are from the USA.

Yes, I've seen those before. I'm a bit hesitant of adding them to the list though for some reason. Could be because all their stuff look fake, as though they're not really official at all.

Why would the merchandise look or be fake? Why not official? FoxShop.com is an official merchandise website by 20th Century Fox. Both NW and AC reported this in the last month [the latter twice thanks to me today]. @supertreader retweeted it today as well. And it's advertised on Narnia.com. FoxShop.com is official - period.

What I mean is, that they look like products created for some other brand that they've removed the logo from and replaced it with the VDT logo. I know they're official, that's not it.

Oh, I guess I should add them. They'll even get their own section. It's on my "to do list".

I agree with Griffle that none of the merchandise on FoxShop.com looks "proper".

I likened it before to the sort of merchandise you see on CafePress shops, whereby you can upload your logo or design and they will give you the option of having it printed onto various different blank products that they stock. Items shown in a CafePress type based shop are therefore only 'theoretical' in that they don't physically exist until someone orders them, and CafePress then go away and create it on-demand using their blank stock item and your uploaded imagery files. Although i've never ordered from such a store, the resulting products do look to be a little inferior in quality to normal merchandise.

So assuming i am correct about the nature of the FoxShop products, and that they are likely on-demand items made with blank templates, and not specially designed and produced Narnia mechandise, then for that reason i would feel that these items are less qualifying of being considered as "proper" compared to other items.

That's what I was getting at. My feeling is that they probably shouldn't be included on the list at all. However, if I make it a separate section, or post it in one of the other posts I've reserved, it might feel more fitting.
