Samwise Gamgee

Postby Pattertwigs Pal » Mar 31, 2012 1:10 pm

This thread is to talk about Samwise Gamgee. A very famous Hobbit. Without him Frodo would not have gotten far. No, not far at all. I'm very proud of my dear Sam. I could go on talking about him all day but I suppose I should let others have their say.

Indeed. I have heard of this man... dwarf... er, hobbit, and I quite agree. Frodo was nothing without him. So let us all raise our tankards in tribute to the honorable Samwise Gamgee, hero of the Shire!

Thank you, all. Uh, thank you, Fili. Erm, do they come in pints? If so, I'm getting one!

Pints? I do not know why you would prefer a pint to a full-size glass. That is the only way to drink anything, be it water or a nice brimming tankard of ale. However, if you prefer a pint, I suppose that could be arranged.

A pint is a full-sized glass ... for a hobbit, don'tcha' know? We may get a bit, erm, tipsy, if we downed a brimming tankard. Like Narnia's Puddleglum at Harfang, remember him?

*Raises tankard/pint in tribute*
I quite agree with all the stated praise about Sam. He is amazing. :ymapplause: :)

I haven't ever had the honour of meeting him myself, since, being the first queen of Narnia, I am in a different story altogether. But maybe someday our paths will cross.

Hi Sam-Daddy. You awesome hobbit, you!
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

I do not recall ever meeting the fellow, but any friend of a brimming tankard is a friend of mine.

*waves back to Sam* "Glory and splendor"? My, my, such praise! :ymblushing: :p And, Sam, aren't all Narnians "genuine"?

Nellie out. :p :)

Good morning, Samwise! Have you finished that grass verge yet? if so, you can come to the back door for a nice big cup of tea and a slice of cake.
